*The Specifics
This warm and easygoing family is seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their 3-month-old daughter. Both parents work on hybrid schedules, often from home, and are looking for support as they transition into this new phase of parenthood. They have a strong support system with family nearby, but are hoping to find a consistent, trusted nanny who can become an extension of their care team.
The primary focus of this role is solely on the baby, with no expectations for laundry or household tasks. The ideal nanny will have strong infant experience and feel confident supporting developmental milestones, establishing gentle routines, and assisting with early sleep training. They are looking for someone who will actively engage with the baby throughout the day—talking, playing, and helping her reach important developmental milestones. As she grows, the family would love a nanny who enjoys getting outside, taking her on stroller walks, and eventually to the park and other age-appropriate outings.
The baby is described as very snuggly and content, thriving with calm, gentle, and affectionate care. The family is looking for someone who brings a soothing, presence—someone who enjoys holding, cuddling, and interacting with her in a warm and loving way, rather than a rigid or overly structured approach.
Mom is currently exclusively nursing, so the nanny should be comfortable working alongside her—helping bring the baby to nurse and then taking over care afterward. Clear communication and a collaborative approach are important, especially as Mom appreciates someone knowledgeable, reassuring, and confident in infant care. The nanny should also enjoy being active, bringing both calm and positive energy into the home.
The family also has a very sweet and relaxed dog, so the nanny should be comfortable letting him out as needed. Overall, they are looking for someone gentle, experienced, dependable, and intuitive—someone who will provide loving, engaged care, support their baby’s development, and bring peace of mind to two thoughtful and caring parents.
