*The Specifics

This warm family is seeking a nurturing and engaging part-time nanny to help care for their 13-month-old identical twin daughters. Mom works from home as a content creator and is often balancing a demanding schedule, so they are looking for someone who can provide attentive, hands-on care for the girls throughout the day. The family also has an older son who currently attends daycare Monday through Friday. While the position will begin as part-time, there is potential for the role to grow into full-time in the future if their son transitions out of daycare.

The twins were born prematurely and are slightly behind on some developmental milestones, making infant and toddler experience especially important for this role. The ideal nanny will be patient, attentive, and highly interactive, taking the time to talk with the girls, engage them in play, and support their development. The family is looking for someone who enjoys being expressive and communicative with babies and who naturally incorporates educational activities into the day. Sensory play, crafts, developmental exercises, and milestone-focused activities are strongly encouraged. Because the girls are used to receiving a lot of one-on-one attention, the nanny should be comfortable being actively engaged throughout the day.

The family practices a gentle parenting approach and values caregivers who can remain calm, patient, and emotionally supportive. They believe in setting clear boundaries while also helping their children understand and regulate their emotions. The nanny should be comfortable balancing care for two toddlers at once, including moments when one or both children may be crying, while maintaining a calm and reassuring presence.

In addition to childcare, the family would appreciate help with light household tasks such as dishes and family laundry. The home also includes two cats who tend to keep to themselves, so pet care is minimal. Over time, the family would love to build trust with a nanny who feels like part of the family and who could take the girls on outings and activities.

They are hoping to find someone friendly, bubbly, and warm who also has a relaxed and easygoing personality. The right candidate will be dependable, engaging, and genuinely enjoy spending time with young children. For health and safety reasons, the family is looking for someone who does not smoke or vape and who avoids wearing perfume. Overall, they are excited to welcome a caring professional who will invest in their daughters’ development and become a trusted presence in their home.
