*The Specifics

Looking for a family that truly values and appreciates their nanny?

This warm, thoughtful family is excited to welcome an experienced caregiver who will become a trusted and important part of their daughter’s childhood.
They are a close-knit family and are searching for full-time nanny for their sweet G (11 months)—a curious, happy little girl who is ready to explore the world around her. They are hoping to find someone who is warm, patient, active, and emotionally intuitive, and who genuinely enjoys fostering a child’s confidence, curiosity, and love of learning.

Both parents have busy careers – Mom serves as a pilot with the Air National Guard, and Dad is an entrepreneur. Once a year mom is deployed approximately 30-45 days. During deployment, the nanny may be asked to help cover some Fridays if available. While their schedules occasionally involve travel, family time is at the heart of their home. They love cooking together, trying new restaurants, traveling, spending time outdoors, and making memories with their large extended family, who all live nearby. They are looking for a nanny who will become a trusted extension of their family and play an important role in their daughter’s early years.

Their parenting philosophy centers around kindness, patience, respect, and emotional connection. They believe children learn best through gentle guidance, conversation, and encouragement rather than harsh discipline. The ideal nanny will naturally model these same values by speaking respectfully, helping their daughter work through big emotions, encouraging independence, and creating an environment where she feels safe, loved, and confident.
This family is looking for a nanny who brings intention to each day.

They would love someone who enjoys planning age-appropriate activities, outdoor adventures, sensory experiences, reading, music, and opportunities for exploration while remaining flexible enough to follow their daughter’s cues, naps, and changing developmental needs. Outings to the library, parks, the zoo, story times, and playgroups are highly encouraged, as they want their daughter to experience the world beyond the home and build social connections with other children.

The nanny’s primary focus will always be providing exceptional care for G (11 months) Daily responsibilities include preparing meals and snacks, organizing toys, books, diapers, and supplies, changing and maintaining the family’s cloth diaper system, cleaning bottles and mealtime items, and resetting the child’s spaces at the end of each day. The family values someone who arrives prepared, and has a plan for the day ahead.

When childcare responsibilities allow, light household support is appreciated, including folding family laundry, unloading or loading the dishwasher, simple meal preparation such as cutting vegetables, and running occasional errands. These tasks are intended to support the overall flow of the household, but caring for and engaging with their daughter will always remain the priority.

Open communication is incredibly important to this family. They appreciate a nanny who shares updates, collaborates well, and communicates openly about their daughter’s growth, daily activities, and changing needs. They welcome thoughtful ideas and believe the best caregiver relationships are built on mutual respect and teamwork. A bilingual nanny or someone who enjoys naturally introducing another language through books, songs, or everyday conversation would be a wonderful bonus, though it is not required.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who is looking for much more than a job. The family hopes to welcome someone who will become a trusted part of their lives—someone who feels valued, appreciated, and excited to grow alongside their daughter.
