A warm, down-to-earth family in Clintonville is looking for a caring and engaging nanny to join their family as they navigate this exciting season of life with three young children. With a thoughtful preschooler, an energetic toddler, and a sweet new baby, no two days are exactly the same, making this a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who loves building meaningful connections and creating fun, memorable experiences with children.
The parents work from home for West Coast-based companies, each from separate offices, allowing the nanny plenty of independence and space throughout the day. They value and trust their caregiver’s expertise and hope to build a collaborative relationship rooted in open communication and mutual respect.
Afternoons will primarily involve caring for G (4) while her younger sister naps, followed by caring for both girls together once nap time ends. The family encourages outings and adventures, including trips to local libraries, museums, parks, and the zoo. They love providing enriching experiences for their children and are looking for a nanny who enjoys getting out into the community and creating meaningful memories through exploration and play.
The ideal nanny is present, engaging, and intentional in their approach to childcare. Because the family does not utilize screen time, they are seeking someone who enjoys fostering creativity, imagination, and curiosity through hands-on activities, reading, crafts, outdoor adventures, and child-led play. A nanny who comes prepared with ideas and enjoys planning age-appropriate activities will be a wonderful fit.
Safety and attentiveness are highly valued, particularly during mealtimes and outdoor play. The family hopes to find someone who is proactive, dependable, and able to create a nurturing environment where the children feel supported, encouraged, and free to learn through everyday experiences.
While childcare will always be the primary focus, assistance with light child-related household tasks is appreciated as time permits. As the family adjusts to life with a new baby, flexibility is appreciated. While the primary responsibility will remain with the older girls, they would love to find someone who is comfortable around infants and willing to assist with transitions as needed following maternity leave and beyond.
G (4) is thoughtful, observant, and tends to be more reserved, while G (2) is energetic, adventurous, and loves to follow her big sister’s lead.
