This warm, welcoming, and easygoing family is searching for a nanny who is excited to become an important part of their lives. They are hoping to find someone who is dependable, playful, and genuinely passionate about child development—someone who is looking for more than just a job, but a meaningful relationship with a wonderful family. Their goal is to find a nanny who will grow alongside their children and become a trusted extension of their family.
The family has two sweet boys: B (3.5 years) almost 4 and his little brother B (4 months). Their oldest is full of imagination and creativity. On any given day, he may transform into an astronaut, superhero, doctor, or another adventurous character, and he would absolutely love a nanny who is willing to jump into his imaginative world. He is incredibly affectionate and already thinks of his nannies as his very best friends, so they are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to be silly, get into character, and truly engage in play. He thrives on one-on-one attention, predictable routines, and educational activities like practicing his letters, writing his name, reading books, and learning through play. He is also working on emotional regulation and occasionally experiences separation anxiety, so a nanny with patience, confidence, and experience gently redirecting toddlers through those moments will be an excellent fit. He will begin preschool three mornings per week this September.
His younger brother is a happy, curious four-month-old who enjoys being read to and spending time interacting with those around him. As he grows, the family would love a nanny who has strong infant experience and can confidently support developmental milestones, including helping him transition from contact naps to sleeping in his crib or bassinet while continuing to follow his cues with warmth and patience during this stage of infancy.
Mom works from home in a dedicated office and Dad works downtown, allowing the nanny to take the lead during the day while still partnering closely with the family. They appreciate open communication, reliability, and someone who enjoys collaborating while also working independently.
In addition to providing childcare, the nanny will help with light household tasks related to the children and the family’s daily routine. Responsibilities include unloading the dishwasher, folding laundry, and tidying the playroom.
